Climate Café
A climate café is a space where an individual can share thoughts and feelings about the climate crisis without any pressure to take immediate action, talk about solutions, or persuade. It's an advice-free space where you can share your emotions about climate change, and deeply listen to the sharing of others.
I have received training from the Climate Psychology Alliance to facilitate climate cafés, and I can host them both online and in-person, depending on availability and location. If you would like to get more information or arrange a climate cafe session with me, click here.
I offer a free climate café called Roots and Resilience for people who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Colour only. I believe this is essential to create a safe space where the experiences of BIPOC people engaged in climate action or experiencing the effects of climate change can be shared. If you do not identify with this group or would like to participate in other climate cafés, feel free to explore other resources by clicking the links below:

Roots & Resilience
Roots & Resilience is an exclusively BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) climate café where individuals can share thoughts and feelings about the climate crisis without any pressure to take immediate action, join a group, or persuade. It's an advice-free space where you can share your emotions about climate change, and deeply listen to the sharing of others.
Roots & Resilience draws inspiration from various sources, including the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. While some sessions may refer to his work, please note that this is a non-religious group, and everyone is welcome to participate regardless of their religious beliefs.
